С Днем социального работника!

8 июня поздравления принимают социальные работники – специалисты, работа которых связана с помощью людям, оказавшимся в трудной ситуации, инвалидам, престарелым, сиротам и многим людям.
Праздник уходит корнями в далекий 1701 год. Именно 8 июня Пётр I издал царский указ о том, что в каждой богадельни должны быть люди, которые смогут ухаживать за пациентами. Это и был прообраз знакомого нам социального работника. Впоследствии, при содействии царской семьи появлялось большое количество подобных заведений: приюты, детские дома, богадельни и так далее.


В настоящее время самыми актуальными вопросами остаются защита прав инвалидов, пенсионеров, малоимущих и сирот. Создаются различные общественные организации и фонды, которые поддерживают нуждающихся в помощи.

Спустя 300 лет после указа Петра I, в 2000 году В. В. Путин подписал указ, согласно которому день социального работника официально утвержден 8 июня.
