В 2020 году детский телефон доверия отмечает свое 10-летие. Он появился по инициативе Фонда поддержки детей, находящихся в трудной жизненной ситуации. По номеру 8-800-2000-122 получить бесплатную экстренную психологическую помощь могут дети и подростки, а также родители.

Телефон действует во всех регионах, объединяя под одним номером более 200 служб. В большинстве регионов работает круглосуточно. За десять лет специалисты детского телефона доверия приняли больше 10 млн. звонков и спасли тысячи жизней. Специалисты помогают снять острое психоэмоциональное напряжение, вместе с человеком разбираются в причинах сложившейся ситуации и подсказывают, как выйти из трудного положения.

Главная задача детского телефона доверия - защищать права детей, укреплять детско-родительские отношения. Дети чаще всего обращаются из-за травли и неуверенности в себе. Подростков больше всего волнует страх отвержения, неразделенная любовь, конфликты в семье и проблемы в школе. Родители спрашивают совета в ситуации конфликта с ребенком, попадания подростка в зависимости.

В 2016 году у телефона доверия появился сайт и чат, в который обращаются дети, стесняющиеся говорить по телефону или те, кто не может уединиться, а также люди с нарушениями слуха и речи. За несколько лет специалисты приняли в чате больше 30 000 сообщений.
