В 2021 году в РФ появился новый праздник — День отца. Отмечаться он будет каждое третье воскресенье октября. Важная роль отца в жизни каждого ребенка неоспорима, памятная дата призвана напомнить о том, как важно, чтобы в воспитании детей принимали участие оба родителя.

В 2021 году День отца будут праздновать 17 октября.

День отца отмечается во многих странах. Первопроходцами стали США, где дата была установлена еще в 1910 году.

В некоторых регионах РФ День отца отмечали и до 2021 года. Так с 2002 года его празднуют в Череповце, с 2003 года — в Новосибирске. Проявляли подобную инициативу и в других городах, но только на местном уровне, теперь же праздник стал общероссийским.

Поскольку раньше День отца отмечался не везде, у каждой семьи есть шанс установить в этот день свои добрые традиции. Например, вместе выбраться на природу, пойти в театр или музей, приготовить праздничный ужин.
