В память о герое Советского Союза

Сегодня работники ОБУ «Центр социальной защиты населения по городу Липецку» в рамках проведения второго этапа эколого-патриотического проекта «Лес Победы»  высадили 15 деревьев на территории, прилегающей к Левобережному отделу социальной защиты населения на улице Марии Расковой, 6. Аллея из берез, сосен и дубов высажена в честь нашего прославленного земляка - Героя Советского Союза Александра Семеновича Кириллова, который совсем недавно ушел из жизни. 

Вся биография Александра Семеновича – это образец служения своему Отечеству.  В Красную Армию он был призван в 1940 году. И уже через два года громил фашистов на фронтах Великой Отечественной войны. Командир эскадрильи 41-го штурмового авиационного полка капитан Кириллов А.С. за годы войны совершил 129 боевых вылетов на бомбардировку и штурмовку железнодорожных эшелонов, артиллерийских позиций, скоплений войск и техники противника, провел 28 воздушных боев.

Уничтожил 22 танка, 77 автомашин, 37 орудий, много живой силы, сбил в воздушном бою самолет противника, взорвал 2 склада с горючим. Звание Героя Советского Союза Александру Семеновичу присвоено в мае 1946 года. Он также награжден орденом Ленина, тремя орденами Красного Знамени, орденами Александра Невского, Отечественной войны 1 и 2 степени, двумя орденами Красной Звезды.  Все награды Героя – это 11 орденов и 28 медалей.

В послевоенный период до 1976 года  Александр Семенович продолжал служить  в авиации, в том числе на территории Чешской Демократической Республики,  Украины. Закончил Военно-воздушную академию в  Москве. Значительная часть его биографии связана с Липецким авиацентром. Прославленный летчик завершил службу в авиации в звании полковника. 

Работники ОБУ «Центр социальной защиты населения по городу Липецку» в последние годы близко общались с А.С. Кирилловым,  помогали ветерану в решении бытовых вопросов, поздравляли с государственными и личными праздниками.
