Творчеству советского композитора Микаэла Таривердиева, которому в августе этого года исполнилось бы 85 лет, был посвящен традиционный  «Час искусства» в «Доме ветеранов» ОБУ «ЦСЗН по городу Липецку».

«Последний романтик советской музыки», Микаэл Таривердиев сочинил мелодии к десяткам кинофильмов, в том числе таким популярным как «Семнадцать мгновений весны» и «Ирония судьбы». Неутомимый экспериментатор, Таривердиев писал романсы и песни, музыку к операм и балетам, был автором камерных вокальных циклов, симфоний и концертов. О нем говорили: он не сочиняет музыку, он ее улавливает. Мелодии Таривердиева просты, узнать их можно с первых нот. Именно это качество композитор считал признаком настоящего таланта.

Ветераны с большим интересом слушали  рассказ о жизни и творчестве композитора, а затем для них прозвучали в записи инструментальная музыка и  песни М. Таривердиева к любимым фильмам.
